The Kitchen at Ten Barn Farm and Kinderhook Books are launching the Lit and Lunch book club on Sunday, August 24th at 1:00. After signing up here, pick your book up at Kinderhook Books (or in The Kitchen.) We will meet at Ten Barn Farm under the willow down by the creek where a lunch that ties in with the book will be served. The inaugural book is The Safekeep by Yael Van Der Wouden. Spots are limited. Our next two Lit and Lunch dates are September 21st and October 19th.

Between Ten Barn Farm and Kinderhook Books there is a fair amount of publishing experience. Roby spent decades at the independent and employee-owned book publisher W.W. Norton & Company and is currently on the Board of Governors of Stanford University Press. Mindy, beyond having her finger to the pulse of the book world running Kinderhook Books, also works at the New Republic.
