Peter Harrington originally hails from the verdant and industrious state of New Jersey. As a teenager Peter first encountered food production in the biodynamic gardens at Camphill California in Santa Cruz, an intentional community created for individuals with developmental disabilities. At Camphill he became enthralled with producing tasty, nourishing, and environmentally friendly food.
In 2013 Peter began his journey as a farmer back east, when he started working his family’s land. Peter loves life on the farm for all of the beauty and variety it brings to his daily life. Specifically, the physicality, cooking, sharing fresh meals with his friends and family, and being a part of the full cycle of seed-to-plate.
