Slow Gatherings in The Hudson Valley

A Place to Slow Down.

Set on a 225-year-old historic farm in the rolling hills of Columbia County, Ten Barn Farm is a place where food, gathering, and the rhythms of the land come together. At the heart of our work is a simple mission: to nourish our community with beautiful, delicious, sustainably grown food, while celebrating the profound impact of small-scale organic farming on both the land and our local economy.

There really are ten old barns at Ten Barn Farm. The original farmhouse — built in 1790 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places — remains at the center of the property and is available to stay in for guests seeking a slower, more intentional Upstate escape. The surrounding fields have been worked for more than two centuries, and today the farm continues that legacy through organically grown vegetables, herbs, flowers, and free-range chickens that provide a steady supply of fresh eggs for the kitchen.

These harvests support The Kitchen at Ten Barn Farm, our seasonal restaurant housed inside one of the historic barns, as well as our farm dinners, Sunday brunches, wine pairings, wellness gatherings, intimate performances, and long-table celebrations shared among gardens, old barns, and open countryside just outside Hudson, New York.

Whether joining us for an evening or staying for the weekend, the farm invites guests to reconnect with nature, creativity, conversation, and the slower pace of life in the Hudson Valley.
